February 14th is “I Love Nova Scotia Day”

To kick off the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax February 14th has been declared “I Love Nova Scotia Day. ” The festivities will kick off at the Grand Parade in Halifax at 11:30am and continue until well after dark.

Tourism Nova Scotia have a tent on hand with a video kiosk where you can share your Nova Scotia memories with the world! You will also have the opportunity to stand on the Nova Scotia medal podium.

Here is the line-up:

11:30am: The 78th Regiment Highlanders play in the middle of Celebration Square

11:55am: African Dance Troupe performs

12:10pm: Premier Darrell Dexter remarks

12:15pm: Cory Tetford and Paul Lamb perform

6:55pm: Premier Darrell Dexter remarks

7:00pm: The Joel Plaskett Emergency performs
