For 2009-2010 White Point Manor is offering a 3 Bedroom Vacation Suite 200 yards from the golf course at White Point Beach Resort

140front_side Some of the most scenic ocean vistas in the world can be experienced in Nova Scotia and nowhere is this better typified as in the White Point area of Queen’s County. With 7 beaches within a 20 kilometre radius it’s no wonder many people flock to this region.

Situated on the Lighthouse Route, just off Highway 103, is White Point Manor Vacation Home, an historic piece of the Queen’s County history. Completed in 1897 by fish buyer Angus Doggett, it was the first modern home of its time outside Liverpool. In fact it has the oldest concrete sidewalk in Queen’s County.

The suite has two large verandas of which the upper one has ocean views. A full kitchen includes oak table and chairs, stove, fridge, microwave and all cooking and serving utensils. The two large bedrooms have doubled beds and the smaller one has a single but bunk beds can be put in for larger families.

Not only are there beaches nearby but also White Point Beach Resort, one the premier oceanside resorts in the country. For nominal rates you can use boats for the boathouse, get surfing equipment, kayaks, bicycles and even play pool. And let’s not forget the indoor swimming pool. White Point Beach resort also has fine dining and Founder’s Lounge that features nightly, live entertainment.

Seven (7) kilometers away is the town of Liverpool with two superstores, auto shops, fast food, pizza and great gift shopping. Three (3) kilometres the other way is the Quarterdeck Restaurant at Summerville Beach, one of the best seafood restaurants in the province

The 3 bedroom suite at White Point Manor House is currently being rented for $600 per week and the owners are booking the entire home next year for extended families. This includes 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and two kitchens in one house! Also there are two more decks for lounging and a firepit.
