Nova Scotia Real Estate Holds Value
We’ve all watched the news coming out of the U.S. this past year and many of have shuddered. The real estate markets were sliding and the big question was “When is it going to happen here?”
The good news for both buyers and sellers is that the market is holding. For the sellers it means that they will get a good price for their properties. For the buyers it means that buying Novas Scotia real estate is a good investment.
The Nova Scotia Association of Realtors just released figures that proves that, despite slumping early in the year, the market is climbing back. This especially true in the Halifax area. The lower prices attracted new buyers which made the market creep back up.
It’s still not where it was a year ago. However, during the past few years we have been experiencing a great market and so prices were high. So if they are down a bit now it equates to a market correction and not a recession.
The bottom line is that any of you who are interested in Nova Scotia real estate you will be getting good value for your money.
