Nothing brings people to Nova Scotia like the lure of a great outdoors adventure. The Nova Scotia Adventure Tourism Association (NSATA) is made up of over 60 adventure operators from all corners of Nova Scotia. They provide a variety of wonderful opportunities for exploring Nova Scotia’s outdoors where their clients learn nature and history while having the time of their lives. They provide fun for visitors from Nova Scotia, the Maritime provinces, Central and Western Canada, the United States, Europe, and many other places.

Within the realm of the NSATA is birding, canoeing, sea kayaking, cycling, hking, walking, horseback riding, nature tours, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, tidal bore rafting, whale watching and multi-season exploration.

To be a member of NSATA an operator must abide by a rigid code of ethics and be accespted by commitee of their peers. This ensures continuity within the industry.

When going to a new part of the world taking an escorting nature adventure will give the adventurer an idea of the territory and a better understanding of the natural environment. He or she will also see areas that they want to explore in greater detail.
