Big Buses For Little Kids

dennis campbell, nova scotiaDennis Campbell, the mastermind behind Ambassatours-Gray Line, one of the most successful transportation and tour businesses in the country, has initiated one of the best charities for kids that has come down the pike since The Childrens’ Wish Foundation of Canada. It’s called Big Buses For Little Kids.

As the president of Ambassatours-Gray Line Dennis started his career in the hospitality industry at the age of seven when on a tour bus ride, he realized that people paid money to the girl who did the talking. At the age of 15 he started his own tour and destination management company, at 19 a tourism publishing company and at 21, his own bus company. Over the last 2 years Dennis’ company has added over 35 motor coaches to his company’s fleet to become the largest tour and charter coach operator in Atlantic Canada.

Here is Dennis describing his new idea:

“Have you ever met a child who thinks that dump trucks, fire trucks and buses are the coolest things? How about a little boy or girl like this one who is sick? We have initiated a new program in partnership with the Children’s Wish Foundation called “Big Buses for Little Kids”.

This is a very cool program whereby an Ambassatours Gray Line bus picks up and delivers children who are traveling to the airport on a trip of a lifetime. It is magic for a little boy or girl who has been sick to have their very own bus pick them up at their home or hospital to sit in the drivers seat, wear the drivers hat, honk the horn and begin their wish in their own private bus. The goal of “Big Buses for Little Kids” is to be part of making children’s wishes come true. We are in the process of taking the program worldwide.”

What a great idea? I mean what kid doesn’t like big vehicles.
